The history of the Beerens Group, as told by Jeroen Beerens

“My father started this company in 1968 as a one-man business. In the early days, activities were limited to selling and installing shelving and shopping carts for, among others, supermarkets. All of this was run from his first office (read: the living room) in Breda.”

“After a few years, the first real company building was opened in Oosterhout. The first employees were my father’s brothers: Toon came to help out in the office, while Jan Beerens started working as a truck driver. They also hired a warehouse worker and a technician. The family atmosphere that started back then is still very much alive today.”

The chances are almost 100% that you’ve visited a Beerens interior project at some point.

Buying tools at Karwei, finding shampoo offers at Kruidvat, choosing a Mother’s Day gift at Rituals or selecting a new perfume at ICI Paris XL: all these products are displayed on or in shop shelving by Beerens Group. And if you’ve ever visited a luxury office or estate agency, there’s a good chance it was fitted out by us as well.
