Beerens places great importance on the protection of your personal data. In this Privacy Policy, we aim to provide clear and transparent information about how we handle personal data.   • The agreed assignment/order;

For the above purpose(s), Beerens may request the following personal data from you:

  • Gender.

Your personal data are stored by Beerens for the above-mentioned processing activities for the following period:

  • For the duration of the agreement and thereafter only in the financial administration for a maximum of 7 years.

Processing of personal data of Newsletter subscribers

Personal data of Newsletter subscribers are processed by Beerens for the following purpose(s):

  • Informing the individual through news updates.

The legal basis for this personal data is:

  • The Newsletter subscription form
  • The professional following of our company page on social media;

For the above purpose(s), Beerens may request the following personal data from you:

  • First name;
  • Prefix;
  • Last name;
  • Email address.

Your personal data are stored by Beerens for the above-mentioned processing activities for the following period:

  • For the duration of the subscription.

Processing of personal data of prospects and/or interested parties

Personal data of prospects and/or interested parties are processed by Beerens for the following purpose(s):

  • Providing information in the form of newsletters and/or targeted communications.

The legal basis for this personal data is:

  • Oral consent, providing a business card and/or via a LinkedIn connection;

For the above purpose(s), Beerens may request the following personal data from you:

  • First name;
  • Prefix;
  • Last name;
  • Telephone number:
  • Email address.

Your personal data are stored by Beerens for the above-mentioned processing activities for the following period:

  • During the period in which one is regarded as a prospect and/or interested party.

Processing of Employees’ Personal Data

Employees’ personal data are processed by Beerens for the following purpose(s):

  • Carrying out the employment contract.

The legal basis for this personal data is:

  • Employment contract

For the above purpose(s), Beerens may request the following personal data from you:

  • First name;
  • Prefix;
  • Last name;
  • Telephone number;
  • Email address;
  • Date of birth;
  • Salary information;
  • Copy of ID;
  • Citizen Service Number (BSN);
  • Bank details;
  • Fingerprint;

Your personal data are stored by Beerens for the above-mentioned processing activities for the following period:

  • During the period one has a contract and thereafter only in the financial administration for a maximum of 7 years.

Disclosure to third parties

The data you provide to us may be disclosed to third parties if this is necessary for the fulfillment of the purposes described above. For example, we use a third party for:

  • Managing the online environment of the GDPR program;
  • Managing the (financial) administration;
  • Managing newsletters, invitations, and personal correspondence.
  • Absence guidance
  • Implementing body for pension accrual
  • UWV, Tax Authorities, Insurance Company
  • Industry Association CBM and Expertise Centrum Meubel

We never disclose personal data to other parties with whom we have not concluded a data processing agreement. With these parties (processors), we of course make the necessary arrangements to ensure the security of your personal data. Furthermore, we will not provide the data you have given us to other parties unless this is legally required and permitted. An example of this is when the police request (personal) data from us as part of an investigation. In such a case, we are obliged to cooperate and must provide these data. Personal data may also be shared with third parties if you give us written consent.

Within the EU

We do not disclose personal data to parties established outside the EU.

Minors

We process personal data of minors (persons under 16 years of age) only if written consent has been given by the parent, guardian, or legal representative.

Retention period

Beerens does not retain personal data longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was provided or as required by law.

Security

We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unlawful processing; for example, we have taken the following measures:

  • All persons who may access your data on behalf of Beerens are obliged to maintain its confidentiality.
  • We apply a username and password policy across all our systems;
  • We pseudonymize and ensure the encryption of personal data when necessary;
  • We make backups of personal data to be able to restore it in the event of physical or technical incidents;
  • We regularly test and evaluate our measures;
  • Our employees have been informed about the importance of protecting personal data.

Rights regarding your data

You have the right to access, rectify, or delete the personal data we have received from you. You may also object to the processing of your personal data (or part of it) by us or by one of our processors. In addition, you have the right to have the data you provided transferred to yourself or, at your request, directly to another party. We may ask you to identify yourself before we can comply with the aforementioned requests. If we process your personal data based on consent you have given, you always have the right to withdraw that consent.

Complaints

If you have a complaint about the processing of your personal data, we ask you to contact us directly. If we cannot resolve the issue together, we understand this is very unfortunate. You always have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens), which is the supervisory authority for privacy protection.
